My Tiny Oven: Orzo with Parmesan and Basil 3 tbsp. butter 1½ cups Orzo 3 cups chicken or vegetable stock (low sodium is best) 6 tbsp fresh basil 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Salt/pepper to taste Melt butter over medium heat. Add orzo and sauté for a few minutes, until the orzo starts to get golden brown. Add broth and cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes, until all the water has been absorbed. Remove from heat, stir in basil and Parmesan cheese and salt/pepper to taste.
