Use a "family tree" to teach Quadrilaterals. Val note: This story needs to be altered and updated to be TN standards accurate. We teach that trapezoids are inclusive (i.e. Trapezoids have at least one set of parallel sides, which includes parallelograms as being special trapezoids). So, with a little altering, this type of diagram could still be an interesting way to teach quadrilaterals. Math Games
