When it comes to mixed-media art, I’m a wee bit obsessed with layers. Paint and texture layers, collage backgrounds, 3-D cut paper effects—they all make me happy.

Today I want to share with you how to make nice textured paper in a very simple way. Collage on wood

This is a small mixed media piece that i mounted on an old book cover back, painted with gesso, paint and chiva stixs. Three layers of flat felt that i made and cut up, stitches and added beads and the centre button is hand made fimo from Zed. I love this one and making more of them.
