Inspiration board for the short story "The Girl With the Sapling Heart" A dying girl receives a heart transplant from a mad scientist. The story is set in the Victorian age on the large estate Endesmere ruled by Lord Poison. If all goes well, this short story will be the prequel to a full length novel: "The Poison Garden"
