Moszna Castle located in a small village of Moszna in Poland.  The history of the castle begins in the 17th century.  After WW2 the castle did not have a permanent owner and was home of various institutions until 1972 when it became a convalescent home.

Moszna Castle - Moszna, Poland / Dating back to the century the castle is eclectic architecturally. In 1945 the last private residents had to leave and the castle was occupied by the Red Army. Renovated and well kept, it has 395 rooms and 99 turrets.

Barr Castle, Renfrewshire -  It was built by the Glen family but passed in the late 16th century to the Hamiltons of Ferguslie. A door lintel has a date of 1680 and the initials L.H./I.C. It was abandoned in the 18th century in favour of a new house.
