(Philippa Brock) The 3D nature to these pieces come from the elastomeric yarn (from natural rubber) used which takes the pieces from 2D on the loom to 3D when taken off. I really like the neutral and simplistic colour palette of these weaves in the natural light and then the complete contrast they show when put under a UV light.
