MP28 II Schmeisser

The Owen gun, old and heavy I know, but this one is a sentimental favourite. It may be one of the greatest SMG's of all time. I only got to use one once, but it was an experience that no one could ever take away from me. If I ruled the world, Australia would be making these again, only with polyanganal barrels and chambered in 40 S & W.

Model 1914 Lewis Gun. The Lewis was developed in the United States in 1911. At 12 kg it was far lighter than the Vickers Machine-Gun making it a lot easier to move from one position to another quickly. In 1915 the British Army decided to purchase the gun for use on the Western Front. Although a little too heavy for efficient portable use, it became the standard support weapon for the British infantry during the First World War. This example was made by the Birmingham Small Arms Factory (BSA)

The Mauser M1917 Trench Carbine, Produced during the last years of the World War I, the Mauser Trench Carbine was designed to be a light, compact carbine or personal defense weapon to be issued to artilleryman, stormtroopers, and rear echelon troops. Very few were produced as German officials feared that production of the M1917 would inhibit production of other more common Mauser produced weapons such as rifles and pistols.
