In this undated photo, Heinrich Himmler shows Adolf Hitler porcelain figurines of Frederic the Great-era soldiers. Hitler was a great admirer of Frederic and what he saw as the King's military genius. Watching on the right is Waffen SS-Gruppenführer Hermann Fegelein, brother-in-law to Hitler's mistress Eva Braun through his marriage to her sister, Gretl. Fegelein was shot for desertion on 28 April 1945, two days before Hitler's suicide.
