use a touch light during small reading groups, when the light is on students cannot approach the teacher or interrupt. When the light is off they can ask questions. Kids love it you can find them at the dollar tree!
The Behavior Alert shows the rules that were broken, and the students, as well as their parents, need to sign this. This is a great way for the parents to track their children's behavior and the teachers can also alert the parents if there are issues.
This is a link to print out warning Cards. bring the card back in five minutes and tell what you did wrong and how you will fix it. This gives students time to reflect on their behavior and cool down before discussing it with the teacher.
