A good friend and colleague Tyler Edwards @mister_mont just started a campaign to raise funds to put the final touches on his full-length record "A Few Good Hearts" and asked me to make his Kickstarter video. This photo is a screenshot from the video and you should totally go check it out! I think it turned out pretty good and it represents the hard work that Tyler has been putting on this new record of his! You can find the link to the campaign on Tyler's Instagram page. I would love for…
This past weekend we celebrated the Chinese New Year with the @luckyenvbrewing crew and enjoyed their take on a 5000 year old beer recipe. Among many small batch brews they made available for the day this one definitely caught me by surprise. It was floral balanced and delicious. I was having too much fun hanging with friends to remember all the details. These are all the things I love about beer and how it brings together friendships! Thanks @luckyenvbrewing for your passion on making…
Just wanted to say a quick thanks to for sending me a care package of Nicaragua Mozonte coffee and an brewer. So kind of them! I have been enjoying this coffee and can't wait to take the Espro on the road! You know I love coffee!
There's nothing quite like brewing in the sun when it's below freezing. Well this Arbe Gona from Sidamo Ethiopia by @kumacoffee makes the morning warmer is is very tasty! I've learned a lot this last year brewing coffee from home. It's a lot of fun but I just don't meet as many people as I would going to shops.
Super excited to brew this. I had an early release of this a few months ago that was delicious and yes also sold in a bottle. @foreigner.coffee is the child of the mastermind @brandonpaulweaver whom I have learned most of my knowledge of coffee from. His passion has inspired me to work with people like him in the food & beverage industry. Get your hands on a bottle to brew at home. If you can!
Throwback to a few months ago when @nest_con_jest the assistant brewer at @flyingbikecoopbrewery and I biked over to @ravennabrewing and ended up at the beer garden with Natalie at @stoupbrewing on the way home. Many delicious beers were consumed from both places self propelling ourselves through Seattle having good conversation drinking beers but most of all just having a hell of a good time with an awesome friend.
It feels so great to finally be done moving! It's time for an adventure but in the mean time here's a photo from a trip to Green Lake with Samson to celebrate being situated in the new home. I've been keeping @thatdogsamson up to date as much as possible be sure to check in and see what Samson has been up to if you're into happy labradors! :-)
