The Helms Bakery Trucks were based in Culver City and later in Montebello too. The bakery was famous in LA and the So Bay, it operated from 1931 to 1969. Paul Helms started Helms Bakery in a building between Washington & Venice Blvd, on March 2, 1931.

I do enjoy the sight of theater with a soaring tower, but this one might have to take the cake. This is the Leimert Theater at 3341 W. 43rd Place, Los Angeles (near USC) This shot was take in 1933—miraculously the building still stands there today as the Vision Theater.

"Any Seat Any Time" boasted The Los Angeles Leimert Theater in It was later leased as The Watchtower Circuit Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses and still stands in Leimert Park.
