This is my extremely loved daughter Eva. She didn´t really want to go outdoors, she was so tired after having to behave extremely well during a visit from a friend of mine. But once out, she liked the dragging of a cardboard box and I wonder, will she ever cross Antarctica? It wouldn´t surprise me. We have noticed she wants to perform. All the time.

There´s no doubt about the fact that the indigenous Siberian people are among the most generous on earth. Sleeping outdoors in a luxury surrounding like this has its advantages! Listening to whooping hyenas, roaring lions and almost silent elephants is very rewarding.

One of the biggest worries on the journey was open water. Always surrounded by extra ordinary nature and mist created by the extremely low temperature.

My hope is that my documentary will give a positive and true picture of this amazing country. There´s many documentaries about Yemen right now, which are really negative, wrong and bad in my eyes. One of the warmest places on earth, is the Siberian log cabin out in the wilderness. A fire is almost always going, food is always served and the wood stove is the center of life. This photo was taken at a permenent residence of a couple at Chirpolay, a reindeer community in the Chabarovsk Krai, a few days travel north by reindeer from Arkah.
