Publica Rework is built on the concept of creating and extent the art value. Their intention is to create new art based on current art with respect for the old art pieces and the artists behind. With their own words: "Remixes, mashups, remastering and reworks are usual in other genres of the art world for example in music and games(which we also consider some to be artistic masterpieces). We want to extend the art value by adding our own touch.

This peaceful and detailed Kacho-e illustration art print contributes to all place. Peacock Ohara is drawn in the famous Shin-Hanga style which characterises most of Ohara Koson’s masterpieces. Lonely House Bairei is a remastered edition of the original art ukiyo-e woodblock illustrations Bairei Gakan. Created with many details and soft delicate lines, this is a true masterpiece by the Kōno Bairei, who was well-known for his Japanese Kacho-ga illustrations, often depicted animals and flowers. Nekomata originates from Japanese and Chinese folklore. They're referred to as a Yokai, which best can be translated to a kind of spirit or ghost. There are several stories of the Nekomata and their origins. Commonly Nekomata is a cat which had a long life and at some point transforms into a yokai with two tails. The two tails are a significant characteristic for the depiction of a Nekomata and they're told to be a powerful spirit that possesses many abilities.
