Once dry base paint, also split your stitch lines & paint w/ a blood color. After base paint dries, add the eye, & lower eyelid. Glue satin embroidery thread, pulled apart to make the eye bloodshot. The lower lid is made the same as the upper gluing cardboard around the eye. To add puffiness below the eye, glue cotton around the lower lid then covered the area with mod podge & tissue paper. When dry base paint under eye & then using a dry brush dust in shading & highlighting.
