PV Lounge Chair, Poul M. Volther’s personal chair. This was the one he was sitting in after a long day – and no wonder why. This chair comfortably compliments your body structure, and with a charismatic and exposed wooden frame with saddle leather, Poul Volther proves that either design or comfort has been compromised when he designed this genius lounge chair in 1952.
In 1962 Jørgen Høj designed this round table with extension panels in the shape of a ring. These panels are made in colored formica, and are in a very unique and clever way assembled as a ring around the table top using metal coins to hold the ring in place. Later Poul Kjærholm got the same kind of idea for his PK54 table, which has become an icon of the Danish design history.
In Denmark, where winters are long and cold, creating a warm atmosphere is a way of life. This small lamp creates Danish Hygge with its smoked glass dome. Looking back at classical design from the 50s and 60s Lasse Storm Jørgensen have designed this small table lamp for Klassik Studio. The lamp is designed to fit perfectly on the desk, shelf or night stand in the home.
