Lovely Garden Finds or Fall Decoration on a Budget

A few weeks ago I picked up several kinds of dried plants in the garden. I thought they would make a lovely fall decoration and I had the perfect shadow box to display them. I had painted my flea market find in a shabby white last year already but never got around to filling it. A Naturalist Cabinet...and Hey Girl...

I've been making a few changes in our living room, moving and exchanging pieces, etc. I found this cabinet about 20 years ago at a thrift store and painted it a deep aquamarine blue, at that time. I have been considering changing this piece to a dark taupe-gray color, but haven't decided on that yet. What do you think?
