Casa Transportable ÁPH80 by Ábaton

Portable House by Abaton Studio 1 - a small house with concrete exterior cladding for extra weather protection, and wood lined interior walls.

Displayed here is one of the patios of UN Studio's La Defense office building in Almere. A delightfully glass facaded 'chameleon' office building which loves the light .......and the light always reciprokes, changing the way the multicoloured facades look and covering the different courtyards / patios of the building with an ever changing coloured tapestry. Why is this? The glass panels are bonded with reflective 3M 'Luminous' foile which changes colour with the angle of the sun.

Eye Candy: We're mesmerized by this house with a facade of shimmering glass bricks by architects Hiroshi Nakamura in Hiroshima, Japan. Known as the 'Optical Glass House', it was constructed beside a busy road, so Hiroshi Nakamura and his studio NAP wanted to create a private oasis where residents could still make out the movements of people and traffic beyond the walls. 6,000 specially made glass blocks used to build a two-storey-high wall. Eye Candy brought to you by…
