Just like emeralds, high quality red beryl is very rare and most stones on the market today are heavily included. These stones, despite the heavy inclusions, will still sell for between $500 and $1,000 per carat. If you are looking for an eye clean (or even very slightly included) red beryl over 1 carat, you’ll need to bring your wallet as they will sell for more than $10,000 per carat!
