Fall Tree Contact Paper Play
Minne-Mama is on Facebook! 'Like' us to stay updated on our fun crafts and activities! Thank you for stopping by! We have been enjoying some fall decorating around our house. We made Fun at Home with Kids beautiful leaf suncatchers and Skyler put up decals on his windows all on his own! It has been awhile since we had anything on our dining room window, so I decided it was time for a new contact paper play scene. You can see our Christmas Tree, Valentine Heart, Tissue Paper Rainbow, and…
Today we read a very fun story entitled "Leaf Man" by Lois Ehlert. Afterwards we went on a leaf hunt to see how many different kinds of leaves we could find. We took the leaves we found and tried to make our own Leaf Man! We ran into a few problems with our leaves because of the messy fall we are having. We found it much easier to build our Leaf Man with printed scans of leaves Mrs. B gave us instead. Check out our hard work! Follow my Teacher Page on Pinterest!

We tried really hard to catch a few leaves which we later used in our project. When we got back inside we practiced being the wind by putting our lips together and blowing. We do the same thing when we say words that begin with the letter W! We each took a picture acting as the wind. Check it out below. Enjoy your weekend!

We started the week with a 'leaves' theme. There are so many things to do with this that it is hard to narrow it down. We made these rakes and leaves art projects. I think they turned out pretty darn cute. The little ones had to tear the construction paper into leaf size pieces. That is such a hard…
