Our newest contributor Si from French By Design shares a collection of built-in beds and bunks for shared kids' rooms.

Shared Bedrooms

The Chic Technique: Bunk bed and loft bed ideas. I like that the bottom bed's mattress is on the floor easier/less expensive to build; and lower height for top bunk.

Some spray paint, jars, hot glue and plastic toy animals...voila! :) I knew I was saving PB jars and McD toys for a reason. Scissors, latch hooks and plastic canvas needles, colored pencils (we don't use them often) and a jar to catch all the odd stuff we 'might' use some day.

One can never have enough storage for craft bits and bobs. These animal jars are easy to make and super fun. Just glue some old plastic animal toys to a glass jar lid and spray them a funky colour.
