Sewing presentation card for a child ~ On a large paper card presentation with decorative paper covers and edging, including the title "Mercerie" are arranged a number of sewing accessories, supplies and tools. The card was offered in Paris department store Etrennes catalogs as a plaything for girls,with the idea of inspiring them in the traditional needlework skills. This card remains intact.
