Viking ship is among the most iconic Viking archaeological discoveries. Best preserved ships like Gokstad or Oseberg ship in Norway capture so much attention and the audience, especially the Viking enthusiasts are fascinated by the scholar assumption about these discoveries.

The Terror Crew was a notorious and feared pirate fleet active in Skellige led by the infamous Morkvarg. The crew used to sail through the islands and raid every coast of the archipelago. Painted for Ulisses Spiele GmbH in 2014 To paint the official Thorwal book cover was a huge honor. I still remember the creation of my very first pen & paper roleplay game character, when I was a child of less than 10 years - it was a "Thorwaler" (kind of a Viking - "The Dark Eye"). I love the see, I love boats, I love drama. I had fun. PS: The horns on the woman's helmet are a homage. This has nothing to do with real vikings.
