Bearded axe (mixture of Peterson type B2 and type C). Hand forged, left raw with polished cutting edge. Ashwood handle - stained oak and treated with tung oil. I've been watching a lot of Vikings lately (awesome show), so I decided to make an axe based roughly on Ragnar Lothbrok's axe. This is also my first full prop using Quixel Suite.

As a huge fan of Ubisoft games, me and my Girlfriend are so hyped for the newly annouced ubisoft game Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I have 3d modeled one of the viking axe seen in the trailer and poster. This version is a optimised game-res 3d PBR model, modeled in blender and textured in substance Painter in less than a week since the annoucement, including a creating a 1:1 scale 3d printable version using the high poly sculpt.
