In October 2017 I spent 2 weeks shooting in Hawaii. The first stop was Big Island, where a friend and I shot the lava flows of Kilauea volcano. We hiked about 8 kilometers to reach the red hot lava, which fortunately was flowing outside the boundary of the national park.
