Nguyen Cong Tri is a self-taught visionary fashion based in Ho Chi Minh City. As a graduate of Fine Arts from the Ho Chi Minh City University of the Arts, he first impacted the world of Vietnamese design in 2000 when he won 1st prize in the 'New Idea' category at Vietnam's Grand Prix, with his 'Green Leaves' fashion collection. Following this, he began to work with singers and celebrities in Vietnam, styling their photo-shoots and constructing signature looks.

Time comes and goes, Fashion comes and goes...Or I should say some pop fashion disappeared without a footprint. But when Fashion married with art, it stay with us forever!

Reducing waste, and Reusing levis garments is what really inspired my whole project and designs. In order to create a more sustainable fashion environment one must reuse the waste that we have and use it in creative ways instead of throwing everything out. I designed these looks based on already existing Levi's and customized each garment with my own denim fabric manipulations.

The paradox of being a grown up is how very poorly prepared we often are for the adult world. Just think of the last time you called your dad to check on that suspicious blinking light on your car’s dash panel. Or the last time you asked your mom how to remove a wine stain from that new shirt you just bought.
