On Jan. 16, 1920, the party was over -- or so we thought. Turns out, Prohibition was only the beginning of a decade-long battle between Chicago's wets and drys, bootleggers and activists. There were speakeasys, booze raids, rum runners, and Crusaders. Despite constant enforcement, it became apparent the city would not sober.
