This is the latest character I've been working on in my free time! Have always had a fascination with odd looking fairy creatures and decided to finally indulge in it. Learned a lot just trying new stuff out with this project and had a lot of fun figuring out her final look.
This scene was created in UE4 and is lit completely dynamically, I used Ghost of Tsushima for inspiration. I created everything from scratch. The scene consists of mostly tilling textures with a few unique assets, the Pagoda and Shinto shrine are build with a modular kit, Speedtree was used for the trees. The textures were created in Substance Designer. Foliage is sculpted and baked onto planes then textured in substance painter.

It was actually really challenging to make it look legit in 3D, especially the clothing , but it was really fun!
