The design of this bespoke glass splashback from a home on Hayling Island is an incredibly colourful wave, marrying Carnivale inspired colours to a beautiful and classic fused glass design. It really injects a strong and vivid burst of life into the kitchen!
BESPOKE GLASS SPLASHBACK IN EAST GRINSTEAD | House Of Ugly Fish
The design of this fused glass splashback in East Grinstead is a twisting variation on our classic Dalaman, with a curved central spine snaking from left to right and adding a striking bit of contrast. Lisa matched all the colours to a specific colour of paint that the customer provided, which was Light Peachblossom No. 3 by the Little Greene Paint Company. We love how it turned out after firing, with a very quiet and subtle pink shade that you don’t see in too many kitchens.

This beautiful bespoke fused glass splashback was delivered to a house in Malpas, Chester. The design is a fresh take on a classic, which is our widely loved Dalaman design, but the colours and details are completely original and unique to this piece. The background is a desaturated hue to match the neutral modern décor of the kitchen cabinets that surround the space.
CUSTOM BESPOKE GLASS BOWLS IN DOUGLAS, ISLE OF MAN | House Of Ugly Fish
These fused glass accessories were recently created and delivered to a home in Douglas, on the Isle of Man. There are two bowls in total, each with a distinct design that complements the other well. The individual designs of the bowls are completely original works.

It’s a splashback which depicts a beautifully soft beach scene, with washed out, dreamy colours that give the glass a very serene mood. The customers wanted the piece to give that feeling of discovering a beach and stepping out to see the sea for the first time, bringing a little joy from the outdoors inside.
BESPOKE FUSED GLASS SPLASHBACK IN CRONDALL, HAMPSHIRE
This is a beautiful fused glass splashback that went to a home in Crondall, Hampshire. The customer, as you might be able to tell from the design, kept bees. She had three that made it into the splashback, complete with the colours of the real beehives, and this formed the main element of the design. A whole host of wildflowers completed the effect of a busy field, with a lush arrangement of glass pieces, enamel powders and more creating the illusion of depth in the piece.

| BESPOKE GLASS ART IN HERTFORD, HERTFORDSHIRE
This bespoke glass wall art is from a home in Hertford, Hertfordshire. Three sculpted wave panels go together to create a stunning glass wall art installation. Some extra colour has been sprinkled in for good measure!
BESPOKE FUSED GLASS ART IN LAURENCKIRK, ABERDEENSHIRE | House Of Ugly Fish
This stunning set of three fused glass art panels found a home in Laurencekirk, Aberdeenshire. It depicts a certain view with a lot of meaning! The customer’s family lived on a house on Balnakeil Beach and also worked on the land around it. She had a lot of fond memories of her grandparents associated with the location, but also a huge amount of sentiment for the house itself. It found a way into the design, needless to say!

BESPOKE GLASS WALL ART IN EDINBURGH | The House of Ugly Fish
These three purple sculptured waves were created and delivered to a beautiful home in Edinburgh. They’re made in an abstract, sculpted style that tapers to a point, with each one taking on a unique shape of its own. Stripes run horizontally across each piece, varying in thickness and colour, and the powdered background features both deep purples and royal blue. It’s a stunning combination, especially for this wonderfully decorated room.
BESPOKE GLASS SPLASHBACK IN CONDORRAT, LANARKSHIRE | The House of Ugly Fish
This stunning bespoke fused glass splashback found a home in Condorrat, North Lanarkshire, making the big journey from our Anglesey studio all the way up to Scotland. A smaller secondary splashback sits behind the sink off to the left of the image, connected by glass surrounds that depict a trail of leaves taken by the wind.
BESPOKE GLASS SPLASHBACK IN BIRKENHEAD, MERSEYSIDE | House Of Ugly Fish
This lovely bespoke fused glass splashback found a home in Birkenhead, Merseyside. The home in question is a beautifully restored period property with the luxury of having an enormous space for a kitchen diner. The clients wanted a bluebell wood, with the colours of the flowers modified to match the kitchen accessories. Deep blues became purples and pinks and the end result was simply stunning! To us, it looks as if you’re gazing through a forest towards the brightly lit sky in the distance.

A Sized Down Scene | The House of Ugly Fish | Glass Wall Art
Today’s piece comes from a home in Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, and it’s a lovely little piece that goes to show how you don’t always need to go for a big grand panel in order to make a very large impression. This beautiful glass wall art brings an artisan touch to an already very interesting room, tying it all together nicely. We especially love the way that the wall was painted!
ARTISAN GLASS SPLASHBACK IN SILVERDALE, LANCASHIRE | House Of Ugly Fish

BESPOKE GLASS ART SPLASHBACK IN FIFE | House Of Ugly Fish
This beautiful bespoke glass splashback found a home in Lower Largo, Fife, and there’s plenty of personalisations to feast your eyes on. The customer behind the piece was looking to have a scene created, and was a fan of our sunset style splashbacks. As she was half-Italian, much like our own Lisa Villarospo, she had the idea for a more mediterranean scene. You can see many elements working together to evoke that specific location.
GLASS WALL ART IN COLCHESTER, ESSEX | The House of Ugly Fish | Glass Wall Art
The customers behind this order had seen a piece of glass wall art on our website, one depicting Fistral Beach in Cornwall, and really adored the idea behind the design. As the family are keen surfers, they thought it would make a good fit in their own homes and asked Lisa to create something along the same lines. This time, however, the design would be a little more personalised and incorporate the family’s chocolate labrador.
BESPOKE FUSED GLASS ART IN DORSET | House Of Ugly Fish
This beautiful splashback was created for a home in Dorset. The specific scene you can see pictured across all three panels is a stylised view of Hengistbury Head. One very identifying feature of the view is the very recognisable multicoloured beach huts lining the shoreline. These make for a central element of this design, standing out as vivid and colourful highlights against a dramatic overcast sky.
BESPOKE FUSED GLASS ART IN LEIGH-ON-SEA, ESSEX | House Of Ugly Fish
This beautiful example of a Tree of Life splashback found its way to Leigh-on-Sea, Essex. The background is a beautiful powder blue colour, a strong and vibrant tone which instantly injects the kitchen with colour while also providing a solid base for the rest of the design to be built on. In the foreground, the titular tree itself grows strong and branches out across the space given to it. It was created out of a muted dark brown with painterly strokes, creating a very organic effect!
BESPOKE FUSED GLASS WALL ART IN TYNE AND WEAR | House Of Ugly Fish
Vibrant, teeming with life and one-hundred percent original, this piece of gorgeous bespoke fused glass art is a wall panel like no other from a house in Washington, Tyne and Wear. From the very beginning, this piece was destined to be a tall and thin panel, which meant that any style applied to the glass would have to consider the vertical dimensions in order to make a well-balanced design. An abstract wisteria tree forms the concept for the piece.
BESPOKE GLASS PANEL IN YORK | House Of Ugly Fish
The customers behind this particularly spectacular piece of bespoke fused glass art were looking to put a feature piece at the end of a long hallway in their home, feeling that the space was perfect for something eye-catching that nobody else would have in their homes. The design is as you see pictured above, and it’s a scene you might recognise. It’s a colourful depiction of a York street scene of course, showing the iconic York Minster cathedral filling the sky.
