The Zeppelin L19 emergency landed after having attacked England in the North Sea 01 February 1916. The crew of 16 drowned after 2 days struggle in the freecing cold sea. An English fishing boat refuced to take the crew on board, which caused an international outrage. Each crew member wrote farewell letters posted by bottles to their loved ones.
