Hazlitt’s Special Red Cat Sauce!! •1 medium onion, finely chopped •1 large green pepper •6 cloves garlic, minced •3 tbsp olive oil Mix all that together, then add: •2 28oz cans of tomato puree •2 28oz cans of diced tomatoes •1 cup Red Cat •2 tsp fresh basil, finely chopped •1 tsp oregano •½ lb each, sweet and hot Italian sausage, cooked, drained and crumbled Simmer for about three hours, if the sauce is too thick, add a bit more Red Cat!
