Knud Friis´ Hus / Friis House

Villaen er opført i 1958 som egen bolig og tegnestue til Knud Friis fra arkitektfirmaet Friis & Moltke. Ejendommen blev i 1970 udvidet af arkitekten selv, der frem til sin død boede i huset med sin hustru. Knud Friis er blevet kaldt 'en mild brutalist'. Det første går på hans væsen det andet på hans bygningsværker. Betegnelsen 'brutalisme' kommer af fransk 'béton brut' og betyder rå beton. Det er et begreb som den berømte modernist Le Corbusier selv brugte om sit materialevalg.
