An inspirational exhibit for all your footer fetishes.
Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt wanted to illustrate a footer that captured the the neighborhood feel while encompassing a global landscape. Although they re headquartered in Arizona, they span out from the west to the east coast. They also wanted to show their unique garage styled doors on their shops.
Breakpoint is “Really Simple, Organized, Media Queries with Sass” which quite honestly means very little to me although I suspect that some developer friends of mine might get some code-boners. Personally I LOVE the gifs scattered around the site referencing Point Break. The Footer however makes awesome use of white space and showcases who made the code possible as well as the license.
Instinct, ‘A new way to learn guitar’ is a beautiful little site. the illustrations throughout the site are lively as well as cute. I personally love the style and think it certainly aids in the education of teaching the users guitar. The sites Footer is a lovely little concert field reminiscent of Woodstock. Beautiful.
The portfolio of George Tsimenis features a fun cityscape Footer that hints the keyboard control options to browse the site. George tells us: "Well, I recently uploaded my personal portfolio site. The thing is that during the design process I decided to make the footer a little playful (not too much). So in this footer you have a rising moon, a clickable projector, a bubble notifying you to use the keyboard shortcuts and a superhero rising with a nice CSS3 animation."
CSS Piffle has an awesome one page looking site with that parallax scrolling effect everyone is loving these days. Their site is super clean, white and minimal while still having a rather large amount of flaire. Their Footer is great too with a few social channels and a reverse contact form. Don’t contact them, they’ll contact you.
Always Creative is a Houston-based creative agency with a focus on the bigger picture and the smallest details. Curiosity and hard work keep them creative. They believe in inspiration through exploration. While that is a marketing mouthful their website is lovely and well laid out. Once again (a running theme with out website) their Footer is delicious, a beautifully bold contact form with little tidbits about the company, and then your usual social icons and copyright bits. Nice.
The Noun Project is a great resource for designer and developers requiring almost any sort of glyph icon you could ever possibly think of. Their site is delicious as it is minimal and their Footer is no exception. We love the dark bold footer especially the huge newsletter sign up!
Creative9 has one of the most beautiful websites around hands down. With a futuristic space theme this development and interactive design agency the site oozes style with perfectly executed parallax scrolling. The Footer is too damn rad and matches the powerful spaceship and planet imagery of the Header.
Student Guide to Web Design is committed to better equipping students after graduation for the design industry with an inviting community that encourages collaboration and the sharing of ideas. And what a great way to start than by having a beautiful website. We love the clean textured Footer with the pixel ruler guide that match the sites Header.
