Saint Mary Lake is the second largest lake in Glacier National Park, and is located on the east side of the park. The Going-to-the-Sun Road parallels the lake along its north shore. St. Mary Lake, has a surface often riffled by the wind, ( unlike Lake McDonald's glass like appearance ) and St. Mary's lake spans almost 10 miles ( and the fishing is great )
