CHARLOTTE WHITE 1826, Middlesex County, Massachusetts Charlotte stitched a very unusual compartmentalized sampler which included her parents births and marriage and the births of all their children. She followed with a verse, These eyes which now behold this work/ And trace these lines along/ Will soon be clos'd no more to look/ And laid within the tomb/ Wrought by Charlotte White AE 12.
Mary Ann Callow 1820. Almost finished, dear Mary. What I love most about this sampler is the way the top house is covered in flowers and vines. And a honeysuckle border is always a plus.

Esther Iddison sampler 1847. A lot of red -- can't have too much of that, though. This one is not as interesting to me as a lot of the others I've pinned. I do like the house, and some of the floral motifs are interesting.
