Shirley Eaton - (1937- ) English actress, model and author. Sex symbol due to the movies she made in the 1950’s and 60’s. Famous singer on stage and TV in London. Most famous role was painting her body in gold paint in the James Bond movie “Goldfinger” in 1964. Retired from acting in 1969 to raise a family as well as painting and sculpturing.
Georgia Engel - (1948-2019) American actress appearing in TV sitcoms, as well as Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Most known for her child like voice and innocence appearing on the Mary Tyler Moore show (1972-1977) and Everybody Loves Raymond (2003-2005) both giving her many Emmy nominations. Cause of death: unknown due to her Christian Science belief which does not consult doctors at 70.
Maria Alonso - (1957- ) born Maria Conchita Alonso Bustillo in Cuba. Singer, songwriter, movie actress and Broadway performer. Miss Teenager World in 1971 and Miss World in 1975. Several #1 songs on the billboard charts. Began acting in the 1980’s and 1990’s in movies and appeared in several Broadway shows. Known for her political views and speaking against communism.
Peggy Lipton - (1946-2019) born Margaret Ann Lipton. American actress, model and singer. Began her career with the Ford Modeling Agency. Universal contract player, appearing on several TV series in the 1960’s. Golden Globe winner in 1970 for the TV series Mod Squad where she became the “it girl” of her time. Married to Quincy Jones and mother to actress Rashida. Cause of death: colon cancer at 72.
Alice Frost - (1910-1998) Debuted on the radio at 16. Performed in several radio shows due to her ability to speak in multiple dialects. Member of Orson Well’s Mercury Theatre on radio and stage. Several Broadway performances. In TV bit parts, often cast as an elderly woman. Career over 50 years. Cause of death: natural causes at 87.
Sondra Locke - (1944-2018) born Sandra Louise Smith. Actress, singer, director and author. Recorded with Eddie Rabbit & Tom Jones. Bit player in TV series. Films in the 1970’s with Clint Eastwood, her partner. Directing in the 1980’s after Eastwood “black balled” her from acting. Cause of death: cardiac arrest related to breast/bone cancer.
Penny Marshall - (1943-2018) American actress, director and producer. TV commercials and a regular on the series Happy Days and The Odd Couple. Deadpan humor. Played on Laverne & Shirley sitcom (1976-1983). Directed Big (1988) first film directed by a woman to gross over $100 million. Cause of death: heart failure due to diabetes.
Jane Fonda - (1937- ) Actress, writer, political activist, model and fitness guru. Winner of 2 Oscars, 4 Golden Globes and a Lifetime Achievement Award. Broadway and over 50 years in films. Opposed the Vietnam War making controversially statements earning the name “Hanoi Jane” causing many to hate her. Famous family and marriage partners.
