Gold and diamond Renaissance ring. The rectangular bezel is set with a pyramid-cut diamond in a raised collet. The slender hoop terminates at the shoulders in volutes, pierced and enamelled with well frosted orange. The sides of the bezel are chased in the upper part with crescents, panels below filled with bleu enamel, the joints forming claws. Late 16th century
