Jeg fik for et par uger siden, et hæfte fra 1945, som Politiken havde udgivet for at fejre Danmarks befrielse, samt minde os om de forfærdelige 5 år som Danmark var besat. Bladet hedder 'Fra undertrykkelse til befrielse. 5 års besættelse i billeder' Da der er gået 70 år, så er ophavsretten udløbet, så jeg har sat mig for at indskanne bladet (det meste) så det igen kan se dagens lys... #WW2 #Besættelsen #Andenverdenskrig

A group of Danish soldiers on the morning of the German invasion, 9 April 1940. Two of these men were killed later that day. Sixteen Danish soldiers died in the invasion, but after two hours the Danish government surrendered, believing that resistance was useless and hoping to work out an advantageous agreement with Germany.
