This wine is as gorgeous as this day! Took a chance on a 2001 vintage... and oh my. I found a treasure! Made in the style of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, this blend still has plenty of acid, earth, and spice, aged into a refined palette. Sometimes age is a good thing. AND proof that twist tops are capable of keeping wine beautiful. Get Doon With Rosé: "The light pink color is very Provençal, and the nose falls into line with it. Aromas of strawberry and watermelon are in the forefront, with plenty of herbal influence. On the palate, it drinks more red than pink, with cherry, currant and licorice on display.
