This piece is created by layering shapes of transparent paper found in notebooks from secondhand stores around Denmark. This Atelier Cph print design from the collection 'Deconstructed' is inspired by architectural sketches. The inspiration for architectural lines came from our research trip to Berlin where we visited the Bauhaus Archive. Bauhaus was a pillar of modernism and made space for experimentation in design, which we found interesting while researching for this collection. With this in mind we created an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, and where both vertical and horisontal lines meet. The inspiration for architectural lines came from our research trip to Berlin where we visited the Bauhaus Archive. Bauhaus was a pillar of modernism and made space for experimentation in design, which we found interesting while researching for this collection. With this in mind we created an assembly of cubistic and geometric shapes, and where both vertical and horisontal lines meet.
