37 This is the end for this walk. We have a van which we parked here early this morning so it's a matter of hoping in and head for home.
36 Il-Maqluba This legend states that there was an evil village just south of the village of Qrendi. The people of that village committed some immoralities and God punished them by an earthquake that engulfed the earth and swallowed the whole village. The large hole is around 25 meters in diameter, and some 48 meters deep.
35 Steps leading down to Maqluba only take you so far then you need a rope to reach the bottom
34 We arrived at the end of the journey in the village of Qrendi in an area know as Il-Maqluba near the Chapel dedicated to St Matthew.
33 We stopped to have this group photo before we make the last dash to Wied iz-Zuzzieq
32 Below us Wied iz-Zurrieq
31 We walked very close to the edge and it's a long way down
